AIMES & SCOPE

It is an annual peer-reviewed journal focused on publishing articles dedicated to different topics of endodontic microsurgery. All articles will be peer reviewed for acceptance by editors for publication in the journal. Authors will be notified of this decision and at the same time requested to pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC). Following payment of this charge (synonym: fee), articles will be made universally available and no further charge through https://jendodmicrosurg.org/.

INTERNATIONAL STANDARD SERIAL NUMBER (ISSN)

FREQUENCY

One volume per year (since September 2022) with a type continuous publication. Our Journal is an annual publication.

Register of Scientific Publications of Ukraine

The Journal is included in the Register of Scientific Publications of Ukraine (also known as the Register of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine) of the State Scientific Institution “Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information” (link). 

The Journal of Endodontic Microsurgery and National Repository of Academic Texts

The Journal of Endodontic Microsurgery is included in the National Repository of Academic Texts, Ukraine. The owner of the National Repository is the state represented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which determines the administrator of the National Repository and approves the regulations.

EDITORIAL BOARD COMPOSITION

  • Editorial Board composed with experts deeply involved into endodontic microsurgery and practice limited to endodontics.

  • The publication records of all Editorial Board members are consistent with the stated scope and published content of the journal.

  • The journal has a full-time professional editor.

  • Gender distribution of the editors and Editorial Board members: 25% women, 75% men, 0% non-binary/other, and 0% prefer not to disclose.

STANDARD ABBREVIATION (ISO 4)

  • J. Endod. Microsurg.

Standard abbreviation usually used in references, i.e., when authors are citing an article from a particular journal. In this case, the dots may not be used or put one dot at the end of the last title`s word which is abbreviated.

In our journal, we also using standard abbreviation for the website name―https://jendodmicrosurg.org/.

IMPACT IN ENDODONTICS

The journal`s Editorial Board uniting four Co-Editors in Chief deeply focused on endodontic practice which represent five different countries.

PUBLISHING MODEL

It`s a fully open access, printable online peer-reviewed journal.

STATE REGISTRATION

The Journal of Endodontic Microsurgery was officially registered in Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (Fig 3) at November 2021. Figure 4 shows a Certificate of State Registration signed by Minister of Justice of Ukraine.

An APC (synonym: open access publication fee) is payable by the authors or research funder to cover the costs associated with publication. This ensures your article will be immediately and permanently free to access by everyone.

The APC for the short case report (3-4 pages article [i.e., short case report]) published in the Journal of Endodontic Microsurgery is $500 USD, excluding taxes:

  • For articles submitted between August 21, 2022 and  August 21, 2023 there is a 75% introduction discount (i.e., the APC is $125 USD).

  • For articles submitted between August 22, 2023 and  August 22, 2024 there is a 50% introduction discount.

  • For articles submitted between August 23, 2024 and  August 23, 2025 there is a 25% introduction discount.

 

The APC for the long case report (5-9 pages or more [i.e., long case report]) published in the Journal of Endodontic Microsurgery is $1,373.40 USD, excluding taxes:

  • For articles submitted between August 21, 2022 and  August 21, 2023 there is a 75% introduction discount (i.e., the APC is $343.40 USD).

  • For articles submitted between August 22, 2023 and  August 22, 2024 there is a 50% introduction discount.

  • For articles submitted between August 23, 2024 and  August 23, 2025 there is a 25% introduction discount.

 

The APC for the original or review article (5-9 pages or more) published in the Journal of Endodontic Microsurgery is $1,373.40 USD, excluding taxes:

  • For articles submitted between August 21, 2022 and  August 21, 2023 there is a 75% introduction discount (i.e., the APC is $343.40 USD).

  • For articles submitted between August 22, 2023 and  August 22, 2024 there is a 50% introduction discount.

  • For articles submitted between August 23, 2024 and  August 23, 2025 there is a 25% introduction discount.
